The traditional and popular use of the porrón has been to serve wine among several diners in a hygienic way, without the jug coming into direct contact with the mouth. Today it is also used for beer, sangria and other drinks.

Some spaniard prefer to have their café con leche (white coffee) in a glass.  It  is a specific glass, as it in high and thin!

If  you go to a cafeteria in Spain and you order café con leche, you will probably get a cup of beautiful spanish coffee, but if you order it "café con leche en vaso" you get the same in a glass.
