Málaga Virgen is a sweet wine from Pedro Ximenez, aged for 24 months in American oak barrels. It is characterised by its rich flavour and is usually accompanied with appetisers or desserts.
Once the wine is made, it is placed in barrels made mostly of French oak, although with a small portion of American oak, and remains there for about 15 months until it is bottled.
Suitable for meats, legumes, mushrooms and blue cheeses.
